Spread The Word

A bi-partisan majority of the North Carolina Legislature has voted to put the North Carolina Marriage Protection Amendment on the ballot to preserve marriage in our state as the union of one man and one woman. North Carolinians will finally have the opportunity to vote on preserving and protecting marriage, just as 30 other states have already been able to do. Please spread the word by sending your friends and family a message asking them to support our campaign.

The Vote FOR Marriage NC campaign does two important things:

  • First, it preserves the definition of marriage in North Carolina as being the union of one man and one woman. This is the same definition of marriage adopted by voters in every state to consider the issue (30 of 30 states have voted to amend their state constitutions in favor of traditional marriage), adopted by a bi-partisan majority in Congress and signed into law by President Clinton, and adopted by virtually every nation on earth throughout recorded history.
  • Second, it ensures that activist judges and politicians won’t be able to change North Carolina’s definition of marriage in the future without first obtaining the permission of voters.

Please help us spread the word about the Marriage Protection Amendment! Ask your friends, neighbors, family and colleagues to join the campaign. If you have a Facebook or Twitter account, please consider posting or retweeting our press releases, videos and other information to help us spread the word about the importance of preserving marriage as the union of one man and one woman.
